VARIETY: Pinto Beans From Alava
Pinto Alavesa Bean or Alavesa Tolosana Bean is similar to Red Tolosana, posses the same winy color but the difference is that Pinto Alavesa has a fuller and smaller round grain.
This variety is cultivated and grows only in the region of León and Álava (Spain), although it is mostly consumed in the northern of the country.
