Tolosana beans are also called Round Palmeña beans. This variety has an oval shape, dark purple speckled grain with an extremely fine skin. Although this bean is produced in Zamora and León, it is widely consumed in the northern of Spain.
Tolosana bean is very appreciated because of its excellent flavor and texture when cooked.
