They are a small bean, characterized by an oval shape, white skin with a small black eye and very fine wrinkles. This variety is one of the most widely dispersed beans species in the world. Black eyed peas posses a rapid cooking potential, with no pre-soaking needed. They have a scented aroma, creamy texture and delicious flavor. Excellent ingredient for many dishes: hot stews and light summer salad.
This bean is grown in a lot of countries around the world spread over the five continents.
