VARIETY: Granjilla Bean/Medium-Sized White Butter Bean
ORIGIN: Spain
This bean is similar to Judión Bean or Giant White Butter Bean. Granjilla Bean has a large, kidney-shaped and big flat grain that also has a fine texture and creamy flavor when cooked.
This variety is ideal for typical winter dishes like Spanish stews or dishes with vegetables; although it is also used in salads.
These beans remain creamy and soft when cooked if we keep them in the fridge for four days.
