VARIETY: Middle-Size Kidney Bean
They are called Planchuda Beans and are similar to Flat Kidney Beans but this variety is smaller than the second one. They have a white kidney flat grain with a creamy texture.
These beans are well-known in Spain for being a good accompaniment in typical Spanish dishes, and are cultivated in the region of Leon and Avila.
