ORIGIN: SPAIN
Canary or Peruvian beans are small and almost round and full grain. They have a light yellow color which gives them the name of “canary”.
This variety is mainly used in stews of beans. This bean stands out for its high protein content that is higher than the other legumes.
Yellow canary bean is one of the tastier in Spanish´s dishes because of its gorgeous texture and excellent flavor. It makes a creamy soup and its skin is soft and thin.
