VARIETY: Peeled Crimson Lentil

Peeled lentils are quick-cooking and constitute a rich base for soups. They have less fiber than unpeeled legume but their digestion is easier. Their brilliant orange tone highlights more if would be polished with oil or water. This color changes to yellow after cooking. Although peeled lentils are less tasty than regular legumes, they allow getting sweeter dishes with a neutral flavor like different kind of soups and salads even hamburgers or meatballs.
