ORIGIN: NORTHEAST of SALAMANCA (region of Armuña)
Lentil of Salamanca is one of the most consumed varieties and famous for its finesse in Spain. This lentil is larger than the other Spanish lentils and its color is light green with some discolored shades, acquired over time darker shades. The lentil of Salamanca, which belongs to the Spanish blonde variety has very thin skin, mild flavor and excellent baking in any water.
