This is also called Carico Montañes or Ibeas Bean. Red Tolosana bean is a small, shiny and dark purple bean with a little white spot on the embryo. It is famous for its soft flavor and slowly cooking and characterized for its skin that does not break when cooked.
This variety is very appreciated in the northern of Spain.
